MESSDECK RECEIPES FROM BROADSIDE MESSING
« on: 15 Mar, 2010, 14:12 »
I'm trying to collect recipes from broad messing days and what the dish was called - intention is to collate it all and then give it to the Museum.   Your name will be placed at the bottom of the page in acknowledgment.

Yours Aye

I'm not quite sure what you're after here Mole. We didn't have any choice in broadside messing - you brought down to the messdeck what the galley gave you. I don't think there was much of a variety regarding "Herrings In" on toast!
