This is F.Y.I. and only a draft at this stage.

RNZN Stokers and Engineroom Branch Re-union.

Due to unforseen circumstances the proposed re-union at Masterton has had to be cancelled and replaced by a Canterbury re-union, Rangiora based. It is intended to make this re-union as user friendly as is possible and to this end all activities will be “Pay as you go” at the time. In addition, instead of requiring a Registration deposit, this re-union will operate on “Stokers Word” as bond and commitment to attend. This re-union will be held regardless of numbers attending.
Your early indication of attending is urged, a warm country welcome is assured. The three local motels are holding accommodation exclusively for this reunion until 30 January 2009.When making a motel reservations just mention the Key Word, RSA or Stokers. Don’t delay as ‘Cup Week” is a busy time in Canterbury.

Date Monday 9 November 2009 for as long as you wish to stay.

Venue Rangiora RSA, 82 Victoria St Rangiora. 7400

Hi guys, where was it to be originally?
I guess there must be a lot more members in the South Island than in the North....

Pity these things always seem to end up close by to the organisers...way beyond my means or interest when it is Christchurch, but cheers anyway
